Job Description
The Technical Specialist (long-term consultant) for environment sector will provide technical assistance to:
- Coordinate and collaborate with stakeholders working in AMR)/AMU
- Support to conduct situation analysis and feasibility assessment to identify needs for AMR surveillance in environment sector
- Assess needs for standard microbiology laboratory in environment sector and prepare improvement plan
- Provide technical support to environmental sector on AMR tri-cycle project
- Liaise and coordinate activities with FFCGN 2 project staff and especially senior technical specialists in human health and animal health sectors, and food sector
Job Specification
- Master’s degree in microbiology specialized in environment microbiology or other relevant subject and five years of experience in relevant sector.
- Experience of working on AMR/ one health programs, conducting assessments/situation analysisÂ
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with local partners and Government of Nepal entities and structures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Nepali.
