Job Description
- Maintaining and increasing sales of the company
- Achieving the targets and goals set of the specified area
- Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base
- Servicing the needs of existing customers
- Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
- Setting sales targets for individual and sale team as a whole
- Allocating areas to sales representatives
- Developing sales strategies and setting targets
- Monitoring team's performance and motivating them to reach targets
- Compiling and analyzing sales figures
- Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself
- Collecting customer feedback and market research
- Keeping up to date with products and competitors
Report to: Sales officer report to ASM, ASM report to Head of Department.
Other Specification:
- Proven working experience as Area Sales Manager/Sales officer, preferably from Steel industry
- Well versed with flat steel products (HR / CR / GP / GC / PPGI)
- Knowledge on flat steel products (i.e. Galvanized product – GP / GC, CRCA, PPGI Sheets / Roofing Sheets) division
- Drive for results and leadership skills
- Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
- Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
- Excellent command of the English language
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
- Managing key accounts & client relations
- Total client account responsibility, handling supply chain with ability to develop a strong customer relationship
- Knowledge of ERP will be an added advantage.
