Job Description
  • Maintaining and increasing sales of the company
  • Achieving the targets and goals set of the specified area 
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding customer base 
  • Servicing the needs of existing customers 
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market 
  • Setting sales targets for individual and sale team as a whole  
  • Allocating areas to sales representatives 
  • Developing sales strategies and setting targets 
  • Monitoring team's performance and motivating them to reach targets 
  • Compiling and analyzing sales figures 
  • Possibly dealing with some major customer accounts yourself 
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research 
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors

Report to:  Sales officer report to ASM, ASM report to Head of Department.

Other Specification:

  • Proven working experience as Area Sales Manager/Sales officer, preferably from Steel industry
  • Well versed with flat steel products (HR / CR / GP / GC / PPGI)
  • Knowledge on flat steel products (i.e. Galvanized product – GP / GC, CRCA, PPGI Sheets / Roofing Sheets) division
  • Drive for results and leadership skills
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in related field
  • Managing key accounts & client relations
  • Total client account responsibility, handling supply chain with ability to develop a strong customer relationship
  • Knowledge of ERP will be an added advantage.
