Job Description
  • 5 years for Master’s degree of relevant work experience in financial management, accounting, etc. in a governmental or multilateral organization.
  • Prior knowledge and experience of working with donor/partner agencies, projects.
  • Experience and/or exposure of GoN planning, NIM Guideline budget and funding mechanism would be desired.
  • Proven experience in financial management, proper maintenance of financial records and handling of audits and independent reviews.
  • Ability to write financial reports, narratives, notes to satisfy UNDP, GoN and partners requirements.

Language requirements:

  • Proven ability to prepare financial reports/narrative in English and Nepali.

Other requirements:

  • Experience in usage of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, accounting softwares etc.).
  • Ability to visit remote parts of the programme Palikas on a regular basis.
