Job Description
  • Prepare vouchers and process payments for all the financial transactions.

  • Support AFO to maintain complete sets of books of account according to the principles of accounting and update it on a daily basis.

  • Assist in preparing trial balance, bank reconciliation statement and status of fund on a monthly basis and verify the accuracy of the statements and books of accounts.

  • Assist in preparing periodic Financial Reports (Quarterly Reports with Cash Position, Variance Analysis, etc.) to be submitted to UNDP.

  • Assist to NPM and AFO to prepare and revise Annual Work Plan and Quarterly Work Plan for the advance request.

  • Keep complete personnel files and records such as leave records, attendance records, service contracts, etc.

  • Maintain vehicle log book, inventory of office supplies and put in place proper internal control system.

  • Keep records of Non-Expendable Equipment (NEE), conduct physical verification at least once a year and prepare report on annual physical verification of NEE to be submitted to UNDP.

  • Assist and facilitate the NIM Audit as well as Internal Audit conducted by UNDP.

  • Maintaining petty cash, advance payment and settlement etc.

  • Assist in preparing appointment letter, Agreement, Memo and ToR as per requirement.

  • Support to organize seminar and other training programmes for functional group, professional staff group and logistics management.

  • Support to financial monitoring and support to stakeholder and implement partner as per requirements.

  • Ensure Gender and Social Inclusion (GESI) related plan and budget on the Annual Work Plan and project activities.

     

     

Job Specification
  • The candidate must be computer literate and must be fluent in writing and speaking English.
  • Previous experience in the development projects will be an added advantage.
  • Work prioritization and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy, confidentiality concerning financial and employee files.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Shares knowledge and experience.
  • Positive, constructive attitude.
