Job Description
  • Ensure all the government processes including approvals; renew organization and reports of the projects.
  • Maintain the daily accounts and administrative task 
  • Manage/Monitor logistics and resources
  • Responsible for handling telephone/fax and be responsible for all incoming calls/faxes and communicating to relevant persons and projects
  • Conduct other general accounting duties, as assigned.
  • To develop and establish financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements; identifying monetary resources; developing action plans.
  • Establish a record of management and administrative system for the project both in paper and electronic.
  •  Maintain files of all personnel, consultants and subcontractors actively engaged.
  • Provide office support services in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness within the Office main activities.
  • Provide assistance in establishing and coordinating the implementation of GFN administrative policies.
  • Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them in person or on the telephone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Conduct meetings, conferences and conference telephone calls and assist in the planning and preparation on it.
  • Maintains confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Provide word-processing and secretarial support.
  • Scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Represents the Executive by attending meetings in the executive's absence; speaking for the executive as assigned.
  • Prepares reports by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Secures information by completing data base backups.
  • Provides historical reference by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; recording meeting discussions.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Check up to date and manage all the fixed assets of Good Friends Nepal properly.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level.
  • Manage the petty cash.
  • Provide assistance to the Executive committee requested in any time of period.
Job Specification
  • Detailed knowledge of Government of Nepal accounting requirements, government law on taxation, auditing standards.
  • +2 pass/ Bachelor’s Degree in any field with 2-3 years of relevant professional work experience.
  • Excellent communication skill (verbal and written in English and Nepali).
  • Proficient in computer skills (preferred expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and in creating charts or graphs).
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Build and maintains effective relationship with team, colleagues and members.
  • Knowledge and excellent working skill on Excel and accounting software
  • Able to forecast budget, maintain cash flow, financial planning and strategy, vision, quality management, promoting and process , develop budget and having financial crisis management skills
  • Travel Logistics, Supply Management and Equipment Maintenance skill.
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate the specified role or responsibility.
  • Scheduling, Time Management, Reporting, and Presentation Skills.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to exercise good judgment and solve problems quickly and effectively
  • Remain calm under pressure and excellent analytical /problem solving and decision making skill.
  • Able to integrate Good Friends Nepal values with the specific job s/he performs.
  • Have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor/ needy and vulnerable children and family
  • Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident, and independent
