CARE Nepal is an international humanitarian organization working in the country for the past 40 years. It currently works in 60 districts through various programs on issues relating to improving the lives of the poorest and most vulnerable populations through programs that work on the following themes: food security and climate change; emergency preparedness and DRR; migration and urbanization; sexual reproductive and maternal health; gender based violence; women and girls’ leadership. Marginalized Women and Adolescent Girls are our two primary impact groups. CARE Nepal hereby invites applications, for the below mentioned position, from interested Nepalese candidates.

1. Position: Coordinator – DMEL & KM
The Coordinator – DMEL & KM will lead and contribute on CARE Nepal's Design, Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Knowledge Management to enhance programme learning, quality and its effectiveness. S/he will be responsible for providing leadership, advice and guidance to programme staff and management on monitoring, evaluation impact assessmentand additionally on design process, learning and knowledge management. S/he will be directly responsible for generating learning through iterative learning process and support in systemic generation and dissemination of knowledge/learning, which should further be linked with design process too.To ensure consistency of the DMEL/KM throughout the organisation and its partners,s/he is required to gather, generate and transfer knowledge and skill to all the units concerned including our external implementing partners to put strong system in place.This role will work closely with an existing resource mobilisation, program resources and approaches team to engage in design process and also communication roleto communicate and share evidences, learning, and knowledge generated from CARE Nepal’s work in order to advance our long-term objectives.


The employee shall fully comply with safety and security procedure of CARE and should be accountable for it.

Qualification:
> Masters Degree in relevant field such as monitoring and evaluation, knowledge management, international development, research, social science and analysis, or equivalent; ideally with a strong focus on social research and learning.

Experience:
> At least 7 years relevant experience in M&E demonstrating impact through quantitative and qualitative data or equivalent combination of academic research and knowledge management experience/background.


2.  Position: Coordinator – Programme Approaches and Resources (GESI & Governance)
The Coordinator – Programme Approaches and Resources (GESI & Governance)will be responsible to spearhead strategic leadership and provide technical guidance on gender equality and social inclusion and governancein and across the programme components. This responsibility is situated within the framework of the CARE-Nepal’s mission, vision and new business plan and national development priorities and takes leadership in CARE’s major program approaches. S/he will guide the organization to adapt its strategies/approaches based on his/her strong understanding and analysis of political and social analysis. His/her analysis should facilitate the organization in developing innovative/creative strategies.


S/he will develop, adapt and apply strategies, guidelines and tools to ensure that gender equity and diversity issues are appropriately analyzed, identified and addressed in programme and policies, providing strategic support to programme team in building and strengthening their capacity and required resources. S/he will work closely with programme coordinators, design team and the knowledge management team for the development of gender and social inclusion responsivemonitoring systems and mechanisms aligning with CARE’s GESI and Governance framework and also with changing governance system of Nepal.
The employee shall fully comply with HR, admin and finance policy and procedures including the safety and security procedure of CARE and should be accountable for it.

Qualification:
> Master’s Degree in Gender studies or social science or any other relevant subject.


Experience:
> Minimum of 7 years of working experience in applying gender analysis and in-depth knowledge of gender equality and social inclusion issues at the national level with strong knowledge on changing governance system and people management.
