Swisscontact/ Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation will be implementing the Skills for Safe Reconstruction Project in Sindhuli district from 1 November 2016. We invite applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions in the project:

Swisscontact/ Swiss Foundation for Technical Cooperation will be implementing the Skills for Safe Reconstruction Project in Sindhuli district from 1 November 2016. We invite applications from committed and experienced Nepali citizens for the following positions in the project:

Position: Project Manager - 1 (Kathmandu)

Reports to: Country Director

Job Purpose: The Project Manager will guide the overall project implementation according to the Project Document and Business Plans approved by the Donor. He/she assures overall coherence of the project as well as project performance in line with the guidelines and targets outlined in the Project Document and business plan.

Required Education and Experience: Master's degree in management or a related field with at least 7 years work experience in the development cooperation field with donor agencies, international and national NGOs including in leadership positions preferably in the area of vocational skills development.

Position: District Coordinator - 1 (Sindhuli)

Reports to: Project Manager

Purpose:

The District Coordinator will oversee and supervise the implementation of the programme activities in the district. He/ she will be responsible for organizing the training/ capacity development activities in the district. He/she will also be responsible for coordinating with relevant government agencies and relevant stakeholders in the district for the successful implementation of the project activities. Required Education and

Experience: Master's degree in management or any other relevant field, minimum of five years of experience in the field of vocational skills development.

Position: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer -1 (Sindhuli)

Reports to: District Coordinator

Purpose:

Under the overall supervision of the District Coordinator the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will be responsible for the proper implementation of the monitoring and results measurement activities by the project and its partners. This will entail, among others, planning, development of tools and methods for impact assessments, field & desk research, data processing and report writing. 

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in management or any other relevant field, minimum of three years of experience in the field of monitoring and results measurement in development projects preferably in vocational skills development projects.

D.   Position: Programme Officer -1 (Sindhuli)

Reports to: District Coordinator

Purpose:

Under the general guidance of the District Coordinator, the Programme Officer will be responsible to implement the day to day activities in the district. He/ she will work closely with the implementing partners to deliver the training and capacity building activities in the district.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the development sector preferably in the area of vocational skills development.

Position: Finance Officer -1 (Kathmandu)

Reports to: Project Manager

Purpose:

Under the general supervision of the Project Manager the Finance Officer is responsible for managing the day to day finance operations of the project in line with Project Manual. He/she will have to ensure compliance to relevant laws and regulations of the country and timely reporting to donors on financial matters.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in finance/accounts or a related field with at least 3 years work experience in finance in the development sector.

 

Position: Admin Officer - 1 (Kathmandu)

Reports to: Project Manager

Job Purpose:

Under the general supervision of the Project Manager, the Admin Officer will assure smooth functioning of all administration and HR related tasks.

Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in management or a related field with at least 5 years work experience in the development cooperation field with donor agencies, international and national NGOs.

 

Position: Admin Assistant - 1 (Kathmandu)

Reports to: Admin Officer

Job Purpose: Under the general supervision of the Admin Officer, the Admin assistant will assist in the smooth operation of the day to day activities including store keeping, petty cash management and management of support staff.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in management or a related field with at least 3 years work experience in the development cooperation field with donor agencies, international and national NGOs.
