Janata Bank Nepal Limited, a reputed Commercial Bank, invites applications from highly energetic, self-motivated, dynamic and result-oriented Nepalese citizens for its Branches outside Kathmandu Valley for the following positions:

1. Branch Managers – Junior Officer / Officer / Senior Officer / Assistant Manager

• Candidates should have at least 4 years of experience in Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions, preferably, as a Branch Manager or In-Charge or Unit Head.

2. Relationship Managers – Junior Officer / Officer / Senior Officer

• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions, preferably, in the area(s) of Credit and Sales, Credit Administration or Credit Risk.

3. Relationship Officers – Assistant Supervisor / Supervisor

• Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions, preferably, in the area(s) of Credit and Sales, Credit Administration or Credit Risk, Trade Finance, Customer Services or Operations.

4. Operation In- Charge – Supervisor / Junior Officer / Officer

• Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Commercial Banks / Financial Institutions, preferably, in the area(s) of Operations, Cash & Teller, Customer Service, Remittance, Cards, Trade Finance, Operation Risk, or as Operation in-Charge or Head Teller.

5. Junior Assistant

• Banking Experience not required.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants applying for Junior Officer. Officer, Senior Officer and Assistant Manager Position must have completed Master’s degree in Management or Economics from recognized University.
• Applicants applying for Junior Assistant, Assistant Supervisor and Supervisor position must have completed Bachelor’s degree in Management or Economics from recognized University with minimum 45% marks or CGPA 2.75.
• Age as on 7th November 2017: Age of candidate must not exceed: 45 years for Assistant Manager, 37 years for Officer and Senior Officer, 35 years for Junior Officer, 30 years for Assistant Supervisor and Supervisor, and 28 years for Junior Assistant.
• Applicant should be currently working in the same position or one level below the position applying for.
• Applicant should be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali languages.
• Applicant should have working knowledge of MS Office Applications. Nepali Typing skill will be additional advantage.
• Preference shall be given to the candidates from local / surrounding area.
• Applicant should apply for one position and location at a time. One applicant can separately apply for more than one position/location.
