TERMS OF  REFERENCES 

Position: Office and Administration Assistant (Earlier posted as Operations Assistant) 

Gross Salary: Attractive package reflecting competencies and experience.

Working Days: 5 days a week (Mon-Friday, 900am to 530pm)

Contract: Long Term 

Location: Maharajgunj, Kathmandu (Central Office)

Reporting to: System Administrator and Finance Manager

Scott Wilson Nepal is seeking a proactive individual to join our team as an Office and Administration Assistant. As an aspirant for this position, you will provide support to the Administrative and Finance Department to smoothen the daily operation of the organization.

Detailed job description and requirements

  • Lead the organization's procurement process from preparation of requisition notes to goods received notes
  • Store keeping and assets management in database.
  • Provide logistics support (hiring of vehicle, hotel booking, etc.) to the SWN staff during field visits
  • Lead repair and maintenance of the organization's assets on a timely basis
  • Organize and manage the SWN events like meetings and workshop
  • Ensure team members' health and safety in the office and in the field
  • Provide general administrative support including mailing, scanning, and bookkeeping
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and update their database.
  • Provide administrative support and documentation in human resource management (vacancy announcement, selection and hiring)

Skills Required

 

  • University Degree preferably in management or related fields
  • At least 2 years of experience in administration or logistic management  
  • Ability to plan and establish priorities, meet deadlines and initiate and implement activities with minimal oversight and supervision
  • Sound Information Technology (IT) knowledge and use of collaborative tools like Trello, Slack, and Google workspace
  • Ability and willingness to travel outside the Kathmandu
  • Excellent in written and oral communication in both English and Nepali languages
  • Positive attitude and a good sense of humor.

Other considerations:
