Job Description
Position: Resident Engineer – Civil Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise construction works ensuring quality and compliance with hospital standards.
Coordinate between client, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
Monitor schedule, manpower, equipment, and progress milestones.
Review and approve drawings, materials, and method statements.
Enforce safety, regulatory, and hospital-specific compliance.
Prepare reports, certify bills, and maintain site documentation.
Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelors in Civil Engineering with 10 years of proven experience in building construction projects.
Strong expertise in hospital/healthcare or complex institutional infrastructure projects.
Proficiency in reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction methodologies.
Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of construction codes, safety standards, and quality management.
Strong command over MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and relevant engineering software.
Excellent communication, writing, and document coordination skills.
Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in a consulting or construction firm with hands-on experience.
Salary: Minimum 50,000/- (Negotiable).
