Job Description
- Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
- Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
- Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
- Assess, record and monitor students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
- Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff and parents and participate in regular meetings
- Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
- Help develop students oratory skills
- Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
- Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending trainings, workshops etc.
Job Specification
- Master’s Degree in English with minimum 2 years of teaching experience
- Thorough understanding of current trends in teaching methods and practices with a willingness to follow Schools’ policies and procedures
- Strong command in written & spoken English with good knowledge of computer
- Well organized, committed and able to maintain a high standard of professional conduct
- Respect towards diversity of school community
- Preference given to candidates with additional degree in Education (B.Ed / M.Ed)
