Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Tour Operations Executive to manage and coordinate tour operations from booking to completion. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational and communication skills, good knowledge of travel arrangements, and the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, hotels, transportation providers, guides, and other travel partners.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, organize, and coordinate domestic and international tour packages.
Handle tour bookings, reservations, itineraries, transportation, accommodation, and other travel arrangements.
Communicate with clients to understand their travel requirements and provide suitable tour options.
Coordinate with hotels, airlines, transport providers, tour guides, and other vendors to ensure smooth tour operations.
Prepare detailed tour itineraries, quotations, cost estimates, and travel documents.
Monitor tour schedules, bookings, confirmations, and payment status.
Ensure all arrangements are confirmed accurately and on time.
Handle changes, cancellations, rescheduling, and unexpected issues during tours.
Provide timely support to clients before, during, and after their trips.
Maintain accurate records of bookings, customer details, vendor information, and tour-related documents.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure smooth execution of confirmed tour packages.
Follow up with clients and vendors regarding pending confirmations and requirements.
Maintain strong relationships with travel partners and service providers.
Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve operational issues professionally.
Prepare operational reports and provide regular updates to management.
Stay updated on travel destinations, tourism products, hotel rates, transportation options, and industry trends.
Job Specification
Bachelor’s degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Management, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in tour operations, travel agency, ticketing, or a related role preferred.
Good knowledge of tour planning, travel arrangements, and itinerary preparation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent coordination, organizational, and time-management abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and other travel-related software/tools.
Ability to handle multiple bookings and tasks simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and customer-service skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of domestic and international destinations will be an advantage.
Fluency in English and Nepali; additional languages are a plus.
