Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Country Director the Regioal Field Coodinator (Head of Field Office) will be responsible for the overall management of the Field Office. The incumbent will be responsible for representing UNDP in the region, building partnerships with UN Agencies, Civil Society Government of Nepal and Community based organizations. The incumbent will also support programmatic synergies between UNDP projects in the region, with a focus to ensuring efficiency and effectiveness by utilising UNDP’s Quality Assurance principles. When needed the incumbent will be responsible for the provision of support services to UNDP Country Office and regional projects.

Job Specification
  • Experience in the field of monitoring and evaluation;

  • Proficient in use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, email, etc.)

  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Nepali is essential.
