Job Description
  • Support and coordinate the implementation of the two pillars set within the broader strategic framework of social Cohesion and Democratic participation programme (SCDP);
  • Technical assistance in implementation of grants;
  • Monitoring, learning and evaluation;
  • Represent UNDP/SCDP in all meetings with government and other counterparts at the local levels.
Job Specification
  • Experience as trainer and facilitator is highly desirable. Willingness to build and apply training and facilitation skills.
  • Experience of working with political parties, government, women, youth and media.
  • Expertise in conflict analysis and experience in applying such analysis to local development contexts in Nepal.
  • Excellent understanding of Nepal’s peace process, and the political, social and economic aspects of peacebuilding and development efforts in Nepal.
  • Direct experience in the design and/or implementation of development programmes.
