Job Description
- Responsible for efficient running of Nursing Services of the hospital and Health Units.
- Keep the Medical Officer in charge informed about the day to day happenings concerning the hospital. She/ He will be actively involved in patient care.
- Assist the Medical Officer in charge in formulating broad policies concerning Nursing Services.
Job Specification
- Trained candidates in Leprosy with PMW course are highly preferrable.
- Must have good working knowledge of MS office and internet usage.

The Leprosy Mission has been working in Nepal for almost 60 years. In 2005 management was handed over to the newly registered Leprosy Mission, Nepal, a Nepali NGO with its own Country Director and Board. The continuing work is covered by a 5 yearly agreement with the Government of Nepal. The Leprosy Mission Nepal is one of more than 35 national organisations which form the Global Fellowship of the Leprosy Mission. The international office is in London.
To comply with national and international requirements, TLM Nepal has adopted a full range of organisational policies, including a Child Protection Policy. All staff have undergone training, signed a code of conduct and received police clearance. A Child Protection Officer has been appointed and a reporting system is in place.
