Job Description
  • To check and maintain the quality of all printed materials published for guests and to ensure that it complies with the Tiger Palace graphic standards.
  • To ensure that all hotel announcements are kept to a minimum and that all announcements have approval before publicized.
  • To ensure that the guest manifest is updated and correct at all times and that all guest passports are secure.
  • To coordinate and oversee the check-in procedure for all arriving guests.
  • To plan, organize and execute the departures of all guests.
  • To train, coach, council, support and delegate the Front Office staffs, chief concierge, bellboys, and telephone operators.
  • To guide all the Front Office staffs to ensure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional manner.
  • Evaluate and conduct performance appraisals for each employee.
  • To ensure that all of the Front Office staffs work time log-sheet forms are completed correctly and handed in to the Hotel Manager in a timely manner.
  • To ensure that all of the Front Office staffs adhere to all company policies and procedures, manuals and directives.
  • Maintains working relationships and communicates with all departments.
  • Maintains control over the master keys.
  • Verifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicated.
  • Updates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnel.
  • Checks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shift.
  • Enforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policies.
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of Front Office staffs.
  • Requires all Front Office employees to wear proper uniforms at all times which complies with company’s grooming standards.
  • Upholds the hotel’s commitment to hospitality.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily. Analyze rate variances, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count. Monitor selling status of house daily. Ie flash report, allowance etc.
  • Ensure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests managers and other employees.
  • Monitor and coordinate with VIP services on special attention & requests.
  • Maintain required pars of all Front Office and stationary supplies.
  • Review daily Front Office work flow and activity reports generated by night audit.
  • Review Front Office log book and guest feedback forms on a daily basis.
  • Maintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logs.
  • To monitor and control the use of office supplies and other consumables.
  • To monitor all printing and to keep related costs under control.
  • To monitor and control vacation schedules for the Front Office staffs.
  • To monitor and control the overtime for the Front Office staffs.
  • To monitor and control all the expenditures to ensure that it stays within the limits of the consumables and budget.
Job Specification
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English & Hindu. Knowledge of any additional language is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and public communication skills.
  • Must have good administrative skills (proficient in Outlook, Word and Excel).
  • Excellent organizational skills.
