Job Description
  • Manage the President’s calendar; including scheduling appointments, interviews and meetings.
  • Correspond on behalf of the President through phone, email and letters.
  • Find like-minded organizations, communicate with them and appointments for meetings.
  • Communicate with other organizations, international volunteers and staff.
  • Coordinate tasks for the staff, keep track of milestones & report the achievements and challenges.
  • Update VIN’s website and social media contents based on current achievements and future plans.
  • Write / edit daily news.
  • Travel and event planning for the President.
  • Read reports prepared by staff and other organizations and summarize for the President.
  • Prepare promotional materials and documentations.
  • Attend meetings with the President. Take notes, presentations.
  • Document and organize all tasks and important documentation maintained by the organization.
  • Manage the office’s day to day activities as necessary.
Job Specification
  • Secretarial course required.
  • Advanced spoken and written English.
  • Advanced computer skills – words, excels, PowerPoint Presentation – Nepali and English Typing.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication.
  • Must have organization, multi-tasking, management, documentation and research skills.
  • Planning, reporting and event management skills.
  • Willingness to travel locally and abroad.
  • Should be over 23 years of age with a strong aptitude to learn and have interest in developmental work.
